Koch Receives Kosher Certification On Select Membrane Cleaners

Wilmington, MA - Koch Membrane Systems, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of membranes and membrane filtration systems, has earned kosher pareve certification from The Orthodox Union (OU) on all KOCHKLEEN® membrane cleaners designed specifically for food and beverage applications.

The certification is effective from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 and is subject to renewal at that time. Specific cleaners granted OU pareve certification include: KOCHKLEEN 100, KOCHKLEEN 105, KOCHKLEEN 120, KOCHKLEEN 150, KOCHKLEEN 180, KOCHKLEEN 222, KOCHKLEEN 230, KOCHKLEEN 410, KOCHKLEEN ENZYME 10 L, KOCHKLEEN KLD II, KOCHKLEEN KLD III, KOCHKLEEN KLD III LF, KOCHKLEEN UC III, KOCHKLEEN UC II PF, and KOCHKLEEN WO. According to Koch Membrane Systems, Products are considered OU kosher pareve if they contain neither milk nor meat ingredients. Fish and eggs are allowed, adds the company.

KOCHKLEEN membrane cleaners are compatible with membranes supplied by most major membrane suppliers, claims Koch Membrane Systems. Use of KOCHKLEEN membrane cleaners helps to prolong membrane life and reduce cleaning cycle time, adds the company.
